GPS – Garmin RV 770

We use the Garmin RV 770 daily for navigating while towing — It routes you where RV’s can go and works when phone data doesn’t. This Garmin has built-in features specifically for RV’ers too, such as low bridge, narrow road and other warnings. It gives us a bit of peace-of-mind hauling around our trailer.

Air Compressor / Jump Starter – Dewalt Power Station

When you’ve got eight or more tires to keep inflated, a good air compressor is nice to have. My go-to compressor is the DEWALT Power Station Jump Starter & Air Compressor. It’s quick to inflate large tires and also serves as a back-up jump starter and cell phone charger. It’s another one of the peace-of-mind purchases.

Wifi Hotspot – Skyroam Solis

A good connection is critical for us, but we don’t want to bust the bank paying for data. The Skyroam Solis is a wifi hotspot that allows you to connect up to ten devices. And the best part is that there is unlimited data, and it works in countries all over the world.

Dish Drying Rack – Prep Solutions Collapsible Dish Drainer

Unless you have a high-end fifth wheel or RV, you’re probably doing dishes by hand. In that case, a good drying rack is a must-have. The Prep Solutions Collapsible Dish Drainer has worked well for us. It’s sturdy and has a nice swivel drain. And it collapses to a nice size.

US Map – Juvale Cork US Push Pin Travel Map

This is just kind of fun. We use Juvale Cork US Push Pin Travel Map to track our route through the US. It’s a great way to visualize how awesome your trips are. And the kids love it.

Water Filter – RV Water Filter Store Essential System

Clean water is a necessity when traveling. In our RV, we use the Essential RV Water Filter System from the RV Water Filter Store. I called customer service with some questions and ended up speaking to the owner, Dave, about the filter system. He was incredibly helpful and should be able to answer any questions you have.
